About us

The Philatelic Federation of Korea (KPF) Is an Incorporated body made up of 54 member societies across the country.

KPF has a Board composed of 20 directors, including a President and two Vice Presidents.
It was established back in 1982 and has since been carrying out its mission, i.e. to promote philatelic research and development, to disseminate philatelic knowledge and to help promote cooperation and friendship among philatelists affiliated with the member societies.
KPF extends technical assistance with various philatelic exhibitions held either nationally or in each province.
KPF publishes a vernacular philatelic monthly "Woopyo". This magazine has been published since 1965 and has pretty large circulation of 14,000.
As a member of the FIP and FlAP. The Philatelic Federation of Korea takes part in a wide range of activities in connection with various overseas philatelic exhibitions. We are not directly engaged in the exchange of philatelic items or in any form of commercial transaction in the philatelic market.
Any inquiries concerning the purchase of Korea's postage stamps should, therefore, be directed to the Korean Philatelic Center, which is Korea Post's sole stamp selling agent for overseas customers, via either FAX +822 6450¡¤5604 or e-mail at phila@phila.or.kr.
